Returns & Exchanges Policy

At San Marino Furniture Ltd., we take pride in the quality of our furniture and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our Returns & Exchanges Policy carefully, as furniture purchases involve special handling and custom orders.

1. Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order furniture

  • Clearance or discounted items

  • Floor models or display pieces

  • Items sold “as is”

Deposits paid on these items are non-refundable.

2. Standard Returns & Exchanges

For eligible, non-custom items, returns or exchanges may be considered at our discretion and must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Request is made within [insert number, e.g. 7 or 14] days of delivery or pickup

  • Item is unused, unassembled, and in original condition

  • Original receipt or proof of purchase is provided

Delivery, installation, and service fees are non-refundable.

3. Custom & Special Orders

Custom or special-order furniture is manufactured specifically for you and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged once an order is placed or production has begun.

This includes custom sizing, materials, fabrics, colors, configurations, or finishes.

4. Delivery Inspection & Damages

Please inspect all items carefully at the time of delivery or pickup.

  • Any visible damage or issues must be noted at the time of delivery

  • Concealed damage or defects must be reported within a reasonable time after receipt

  • Claims should include clear photos and a description of the issue

Normal variations in wood grain, color, texture, fabric, stitching, or padding are considered natural characteristics and not defects.

5. Manufacturer Defects & Warranty

Some products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Warranty coverage varies by product and manufacturer

  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper care are not covered

  • Warranty claims may require photos, documentation, and manufacturer approval

San Marino Furniture Ltd. does not provide additional warranties unless explicitly stated in writing.

6. Refunds & Store Credit

Approved returns may be refunded by:

  • Store credit, or

  • Original method of payment, at our discretion

Refunds will be processed only after the item has been inspected and approved. Processing times may vary.

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability and approval. Any price difference, delivery fees, or additional services will be the customer’s responsibility.

8. Care & Maintenance

Improper use, lack of proper care, or failure to follow manufacturer care instructions may void eligibility for returns, exchanges, or warranty claims.

9. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Returns & Exchanges Policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
